Eyes
It watches your cursor
Pupils glide toward your pointer wherever it goes on screen. Look away long enough and it finds something else to do.
Desktop pet · macOS · Windows · Linux
PixelPup sits above your windows, watches your cursor, taps along while you type, naps when you're away, and reminds you to drink water. Pick a dog, a cat, a hamster, or a kid — each one keeps busy in its own way.
One payment, kept forever. $1.99 for the pet you pick, $8 for all five — no subscription, no account, no telemetry.
The cast
Every avatar shares the same manners — cursor-following eyes, blinking, head tilts, petting, naps. What changes is what they do when you leave them alone.
What it does
Eyes
Pupils glide toward your pointer wherever it goes on screen. Look away long enough and it finds something else to do.
Keyboard
Every keystroke lands as a paw tap — or a small hand on a keyboard, if you picked one of the kids — with its eyes down on the work.
Free time
Left alone, it wanders to a random spot on your screen, plays, or curls up and sleeps with a trail of z's until you come back.
Health
Thirty rotating nudges — water, posture, the 20-20-20 rule, a walk — spoken in a little bubble every few minutes, using your name.
Manners
Double-click and it scurries to the other side of the screen so you can reach whatever it was sitting on. Drag it anywhere you like.
Agents
Wire it to Claude Code, a CI job, or any script: it puts on a thinking face while work runs, then hops and barks when the job lands.
Get PixelPup
Try all five first — every pet runs in demo mode with a gentle reminder. Buy the one you fall for, or take the whole cast. Either way it's a single payment, and the same number in every currency, so nobody pays more for their postcode.

After checkout you get the build for your machine. Two editions, same pet: the native build is a single Swift file for macOS, and the cross-platform build ships as a normal installer everywhere else.
.dmg · Apple Silicon
Open the disk image and drag it to Applications. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open — the build is unsigned.
Download .dmg.exe · installer or portable
Run the installer, or take the portable build and skip installing altogether. SmartScreen will warn once: More info → Run anyway.
Download .exe.AppImage · x11
Mark it executable and run it. Keyboard reactions need X11; Wayland blocks global key listening.
